We spend our life do we, on creating an external us thinking we are providing the internal us with everything it needs. NO!
Our purpose is to maintain, nourish, revitalise and prolong our lives. We eat, we think, we breathe and we move.
Without specific things such as proper nutrients, and proper motions (you know what that is!) we become weak.
CHI is an ancient method of thinking, breathing and moving. To revitalise, and the philosophy behind it can be shared to you in exercises for your internal organs. It works in our life force and has been there all the time.
The internal exercises can heal and energise the internal organs - this is the key to youth, immunity against disease, and true health. It can be done through deceleration, smoothness, quietness, precision, naturalness, and an internal emphasis.
External exercises like football, gymnastics, weight lifting, Yoga and martial arts can produce an attractive outer figure often be depleting the energy of the internal organs, causing a number of illnesses and perhaps premature aging. The fatigue, stress, strain, pain and contortions associated with the external exercises disrupt the delicate internal organs. Why do they say HOLD IT UNTIL IT HURTS? Think about this really hard...Our internal organs are responsible for the body's regenerative processes and defend us against disease. Over doing external will impair the body's ability to replace worn cells and fight off germs and viruses. The organs do what the muscles cannot do and that is protect us. Is my mother similar to yours saying that now her hip replacement or knee replacement was a result of too much tennis and squash? Rugby and concussion - what are they saying these days?
Physical exercise feels great and power walking and some exercises, even Yoga is a benefit. At the same time it does no harm to look at ways to protect your internal organs so that the outer body can live longer, stay in form longer and allow you freedom in all parts of your body to do the things you love. Those already unable to walk, or overweight, or even a paraplegic who I met recently is able to do so many things to keep the body in shape.
Internal Exercises are here for you and know that they are a part of a whole for healing and you can use these exercises without committing to the CHI LIFE, it is not an easy process to believe, to commit and to realise true longevity. This is just a start to see if you would like to learn more.
